So is this another "take the money and run." The bond prices are pathetic and appear to have very little value. Where did the money go? and who will be making the interest payment due on the bonds? Is this another "bate and switch" or "deceive the public" so we can "take" your money without any responsiblity or stewardship? How does this happen with all the regulations? Or is the public just being "fooled" into a false sense of security through these regulatory agencies? What about just "doing the right thing?

I have just found this web site and am very interested in this issue. I jhave lived on the lake for 14 years and until 2009 never had a problem with low water. I knew something had changed and it just wasn't drought. We had plenty of hot rain free summers in those years and the lake might drop a foot but that was about it. I began emailing BRA and never did get a satisfactory explanation other than recreation was not a priority and there are commericial interests that take priority. I find that interesting since as far as I know this is a tax payer supported lake. I would think we would have some say in its use.

Please keep me informed of any planned action as I would like to help if I can.

Going to have to disagree on the TSA portion of your comment. This HAS to start at the State level here and Texas is perfect for this. The legal challenge here is better than a Senate stalemate. The Federal Judges in Texas will not give the Obama DOJ what they want and force the issue to the Supreme Court where it becomes the 4th Amendment issue hearing it should be and will be closed down. As far as other areas for the 1121th, yes there is lots of room for improvement

"Taking shots at the Republicans in the 112th Congress for not stopping the assault is not proper here, as we have already seen where they passed the legislation to repeal Obamacare only to see it die in the Senate. "

That's just absurd. So now, if they think it might not get through the senate, the house has no responsibility to engage the issue? How does that work? First, as you noted, the majority is slim and much as in the Texas version of the bill it's likely to have at least some support from Democrats. After all, it's not only Republicans being felt up in our airports.

Even if it's a losing battle, you fight it anyway. Honestly, one of the proudest moments of our heritage were battles reasonable people said we would lose. If nothing else, you send that bill to the senate to demonstrate that *if* the people will give us the majority this is the kind of thing that would get through. Without it, all they have to offer is a lick and a promise - and a politician's word isn't worth spit.

No, the 112th has a LOT to answer for, and not doing something to reign in the TSA is only the tip of the iceberg. Frankly, they should've been sending versions of the repeal of obamacare *repeatedly*. I don't care how many times it fails.
