The Fourth Reich – Alive in the Left

Last fall NBC host Matt Lauer threw the Nazi term “brown shirts” out in a description of Trump supporters at a rally. I did not write down the date or take interest in the event. I was concerned that this liberal pompous ass was throwing around a term that he obviously does not understand. Last time I checked, support, even obnoxious support for a political candidate, does not make one a Nazi. Have the Trump supporters been vocal? Yes – no crime there. Even obnoxious at times? Yes – you are afforded that right under the 1st Amendment. Have they suppressed free speech? No. Have they beaten people into submission? No. Have they infiltrated their opponents rally’s for the purpose of inciting violence? No.

The Nazi’s suppressed freedom of speech through what you said and what you wrote and its distribution. They took you out and beat the hell out of you. They threatened the lives of their opposition and their family members. They called their opponents names in public to discredit them. Economic hardship was wrought on those that did not get in line and tow the Nazi message. When all of those tactics failed, they simply killed those that opposed them.

We don’t have that going on in Amer…. Hey, wait a minute…

A little tongue in cheek to make a point. The very term used by Lauer is in fact a subtle Gestapo tactic the left has been using for quite some time. While it started back in the 90’s, the Suppression Train got on steroids with Barry O.  Let’s look at the 2008 election for starters. I don’t recall an effort to turn Presidential Electors from each state coming from conservatives, threatening Democrat Electors with their lives if they did not overturn the 08 Election. What I do recall was a campaign where ANY criticism of BHO was met with ferocity from the left with calls of racism.  That was just the clearing of the throat for the new SS. In January 2009 when Barry and Republican leaders were meeting about the Stimulus Bill, Minority Whip Eric Cantor had a few ideas for the bill and Obama made his famous “…elections have consequences and I won…” comment, blocking out any discussion of conservative ideas. The Left took the cue and donned their “brown shirt” under garments and began terrorizing conservatives –  being the mechanism for the political correctness and suppression of freedom ever since.

Need more you say?  After the Stimulus was passed with nary a Republican vote, Barry went to work on Obamacare. This massive government overreach finally got the conservatives off the couch and the Tea Party was born. The Tea Party protested every inch of this bill and began a movement. The crowds were large, vocal, emotional, and ripe with telling their opinions in a less than political tone. Were they ever violent? No. Did they destroy public property? No. Did they threaten anyone with violence or death? NO! The liberal media called them racist right from the beginning, trying to suppress any rejection of the Obama Agenda.

The past eight years has seen a constant attack by liberals and their media against any opposition opinion on such topics as global warming, gun control, gay rights, illegal aliens, abortion, etc. People have not even been allowed an open opinion without being verbally and even physically accosted for having any narrative other than the one pushed by progressives.

Despite the suppression, the American people have been fighting back. Taking the House back in 2010 and expanded the seats for conservatives in 2012. Had the GOP nominated anyone other than a job killing corporate raider who also happened to be the author to the model for Obamacare, I dare say we would have had a different President in 2012. In 2014, the House and Senate once again belonged to Republicans.

As America voted in more checks and balances against Barry, he became more of a fascist dictator. “I have a pen and a phone…” was Barry’s famous line for bypassing Congress when he refused to work with them. All the while being lauded by the loony left-wing press as they roasted any opposing voices to Barry’s actions.

Then came 2016. All the marbles for continuing the Democrat Depression with HRC and continuing The Butcher’s Legacy. And the New Nazi Party of the Left did not take any chances. Because Trump chose to call things they way they are, he was immediately labeled a racist. Sexist soon followed as the Suppression Train was rolling. Trump supporters became “deplorable” with the list of isms Hillary spelled out in maniacal delight. While Hillary campaigned to crickets, Trump talked to thousands with standing room only. The Left could not have this and we now KNOW that far left loons were paid to infiltrate Trump rallies to cause problems. We KNOW that the DemoNazi’s organized hate mongers to go to Trump rallies and intimidate supporters.

In the last 6 weeks since the election, we have seen the final throes of the liberal suppression machine at its height to try to overturn a free, fair, and legal election. First we have the popular vote appeal. HRC got more than Trump. While true, 1. we don’t vote that way, thus the Electoral College; 2. In full disclosure, the overage of votes came from California, our most populist state. Subtract California from the picture and you have a much different total. There is also a legitimate argument that California’s vote is tainted anyway with its aid to illegals in getting ID’s, ID’s that are used in voting. In conjunction with this appeal, left-wing loons began protests in large cities in Blue States that often turned violent and damaged property. All part of classic Gestapo tactics. When that did not work, the Green Party legal appeal for recounts in WI, MI, and PA. In my personal opinion, I still think HRC bankrolled this. If Stein had raised that kind of money in that short of time during the campaign, she might have garnered more than 1%. As the recount effort failed, we see the last stand on the Fight for the Electoral College. Pushed by the extreme left, graced by Hillary, and pounded on by the liberal media – Republican Electors were harassed, intimidated, and threatened with death to them and their family members if they did not vote for Clinton. These appalling actions were never stopped by The Butcher or any other member of the DemoNazi Party. I can only imagine if the conservatives had mounted an effort like this in 2008….

The left will now have to deal with reality. The Suppression Train has been derailed. The PC Police are laid off.  New leadership is coming and will back up law & order and freedom of speech.

Thank the Lord!

Does that mean they will roll over and play dead? Doubtful. I think they will be the same as they have been, but will have push back from the general populace and the new POTUS.

Unfortunately, the Fourth Reich will remain alive in the left.

Protected by the document they hate.

Blood, Energy, & Nation Building – Beyond Pearl Harbor

Today marks the 75th Anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. While it is important to take a moment and remember those that died upon that day, it is also important to recognize the impact in US international policy that arose from the tragedy of that day.

While WWI initialized the US entrance onto the world scene, its participation and impact on the outcome of WWII was when the US began to formulate and enforce an international theme. One that ties energy, nation building, and the spilling of American blood in ways that make one ill.

Before December 7, 1941, the US was on the sidelines. Watching, observing, positioning itself to protect its own interests. It is not a secret that FDR was not a fan of the current policy. However, I do not believe in any manner that FDR purposely wanted the Japanese to attack. Rather, I think FDR was naïve on how determined the bad actors of WWII were in meeting their goals. We call Japan by its singular name now; pre WWII it was the Empire of Japan. Empire creates an unmistakable desire to grow through the acquisition of land. That is why we called it the Roman Empire, The British Empire, etc. The conquest of lands grew an empire, granted access to resources, and required the spilling of a significant amount of blood. It’s why England, France, and Spain all came to the new world we now call America…..

Japan’s target with the south pacific and Korea, but it needed the resource of oil for the conquest of war. People forget the US was a major exporter of oil in the early part of the 20th century. We had a glut and our own internal appetite was not yet mature. While FDR’s cutting off the oil supply was morally correct in not supporting imperialism, its unintended consequence was the attack by Japan. Blood for oil, or in this case, a lack of it for Japan.

This theme keeps re-occurring now in US policy. Sometime the US has been the aggressor and sometimes the responder. The answer is not always obvious, but obfuscated in political garbage. Here are some, but not all, examples in recent history:

The Gulf War with Iraq 1990
Over as quick as it started, the US led coalition had very little to do with the liberation of Kuwait and the interest of freedom. It had everything to do with keeping world oil supplies safe and prices constant. While most Americans think this was a “one and done”, this operation kept US forces at odds with Iraq through most of the 1990’s under both the Bush 41 and Clinton Administrations.

Was this the precursor to the Iraq War?

The Iraq War 2003
On the surface, this was part of W’s Bush Doctrine, since Iraq was no doubt a state sponsor of terror. Did it require an invasion? Could we not have bombed the crap out of them and left them to rot? Did the fact that Iraq had oil reserves in the top 3 globally have anything to do with it? I personally think that 43 hit the button for several reasons – finish the job 41 was accused of not doing, wipe out a terror state, build a democratic republic, and get the inroad to that huge supply of oil. Well, we know how that ended.

Operation Odyssey Dawn Libyan Intervention 2011
Didn’t know this one had a name, did ya? It was known as a military intervention enforcing UN Resolution 1973 with bombing of the Libyan forces. But why? Let’s think back – Qaddafi had not been an issue since Reagan dropped a bomb on him in 1986. He had renounced terrorism and WMD in 2003 to the world. Libya had been removed as a state sponsor of terror in 2007. They were quiet and not causing any trouble to anyone.

So what happened? Fear of terrorism plays a part – Al Megrahi, the mind behind the Lockerbie bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 on December 21, 1988 was released in 2009 and returned to Libya as a folk hero. This causes a stink internationally. Libya starts seeing some internal issues with this mans return, starting fires they don’t want. In turn, Qaddafi makes a move to bolster defenses. In 2010, Russia sells Libya a weapons deal worth 1.8 billion USD and this places DC on alert. Could the US have been the one to make this deal? Absolutely if Obama had had any sense of the region.

Also, the US Senate is having a fit the oil giant British Petroleum (BP) lobbied to get Al Megrahi released…

Did all of this intersect?

Of course. Let’s look at oil production. From 1990 to 2009, Libya averaged between 1400 and 1800 barrels a day of production. That falls off a cliff in 2010. That is the same year BP starts drilling off the Libyan Coast. 2010 is also the year Mother Russia comes onto the world stage as a new leader in oil production. What’s a few weapons for slowing down production of free market oil…..

In March of 2011, The Libyan Civil War officially ensues as part of the Arab Spring. For some reason, the US and its allies back the rebels against Qaddafi. My guess is someone got pissed off over the slowdown in oil production and what appeared to be an alliance in the making with Russia. From the US military support in March 2011 until the summer of 2012, Libyan oil production went back. All of this is at

Well, we know what happened on 9-11-2012 don’t we?

Now you why.

Syria 2012, 2014 to present
Bet you thought this was about overthrowing an evil dictator to spread freedom in the middle east and protect the helpless, right? Well, there is some degree of truth in that. But if Barry O hated the Iraq War so much, then why do similar actions in Syria? Let’s dig around for some facts.

In 2009, the Arab state of Qatar, a MAJOR supplier of natural gas, proposes a new pipeline to the EU that would cross Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria, and Turkey. That pipeline would have brought an entire new supply line of gas to the EU. Why is this important? Well, our comrades in Russia sell 80% of their natural gas supplied by state company Gazprom to the EU. Lots of energy dollars here. LOTS…. The US under Barry O likes this plan of disruption, as it would hurt Russia.

Deceased Syrian President Hafez Assad learned to fly jets in Russia. In 1970, he visited Moscow and they got a weapons pipeline going. Syria was even counted as part of the Eastern Block of the former Soviet Union. In short, Russia and Syria have a history. Here is more on this topic:

Bashar Al-Assad came into power in 2010 when his dad Syrian President Hafez Assad croaks of a heart attack. Putin moves in like a hawk to befriend Bashar. Bashar refuses to grant permission for this pipeline. Russia has been at his beck and call ever since and will continue to be. So, for anyone to think the US, UN, or ANY coalition is going to knock out Bashar without getting military with Russia is nuts. Here is a great article on the topic:

So why people says it’s about making Syria a democracy (nation building), I think it’s about the money involved in energy. And you libs thought Barry was benevolent? The deaths involved around this conflict, pushed by Obama, are one of the many reasons I penned him Barry the Butcher some time back.

Paid for with the blood of the brave and of the innocent.

75 Years and no one has learned a damn thing.

Full Court Press

I am not sure if “unhinged” accurately describes the response from most of the media since Trump’s victory. It started on election night with Rachael Maddow at MSNBC who made no attempt to mask her hatred of Trump when it was becoming apparent of who the next POTUS was going to be. She nearly melted down on the show and set the example for the rest of the left leaning media – do a full court press on the next leader of the free world.

Harass, criticize at all cost, disrupt at every possible moment, and set a new standard for hypocrisy right out of the chute…

So let’s start with the snarkiness in the media since November 8:

General Attitude of the Trump Victory and his Supporters
Too many examples here to list, but turn on any channel other than Fox and you hear constant smears of the President- Elect. They are still in Campaign for Hillary Mode, in full denial of reality, and signaling from the start that they will not give Trump any fair coverage in any manner. Tell me how this helps the nation in any manner? The job of the press is to report the news, not be the news.  If a scintilla of effort had been done to hack at Barry O out of the chute like what Trump is already seeing, the left would have quashed the critical source with cries of racism, calls of unpatriotic action, and any number of smear tactics that would have been designed to destroy any opposition. Had Hillary won, the same set of protective walls would have been erected for her. With one change: sexism would have replaced racism.

Then there is the examination of the supporters. For people who are as educated as they are, the liberal press show how stupid they really can be at times. In the internalization of how HRC lost, they just don’t see how people can support Trump. In their mind, HRC hit the nail on the head in the “deplorable” list. What was that list again? Oh, yeah, I remember now. Let’s list them in order from HRC’s mouth:

  • Racist
  • Sexist
  • Homophobic
  • Xenophobic
  • Islamaphobic

I don’t know why she didn’t just add “white trash” to the list? I mean, isn’t that what the elite think “fly over country” is composed of anyway?

Now here is the best part – I am hearing stories in this same press pool now that there needs to be a more “open” dialogue with the nation to address needs. That is code for “We did not see this coming, you deplorable Trump supporters thwarted our polling, and we would appreciate it if you would scratch your demands on a rock so we can have them analyzed for mutant contagion so we can look superior once again. Love & Kisses – the Liberal Media“.

Can you say detached and lost in translation?

Good! I knew you could!

May We Tag Along Mr. Trump?
This is going to be fun to watch. Trump is about as public a man in the private sector as they come, being covered by press constantly before his run for POTUS. This past week, Trump ditched his press pool to have dinner with his family. My guess is he knows this may be one of the last times he can have a dinner with the wife and kids in public without the press fawning over every bite. Apparently, the press pool did not take this well and issued a letter the next day requesting a pool bet set up immediately to cover him from now to the end of his presidency.

Hmm. Seem to remember a Hawaiian vacation in 2008 for then President-Elect Barry O and his ditching the press pool to take the girls to a water park. Don’t recall any outrage then…….

O Hypocrisy, why doth thou keep rearing thy ugly head?

Will You Hurry Up and Appoint People?!?!?
Amid bowl movements aplenty, the media is having a fit that Trump does not roll out the new Cabinet appointees this week. Forget about the fact that is recent history going back to Reagan that most appointments don’t come until 6 weeks after the election. Bush 41 was the exception, but he was the former VP and had a leg up in the process. Even BHO did not have people appointed at this point. You know the hypocrisy is high when David Axelrod tweets about this fact with BHO and does not recall getting harassed for it then.

So why the rush? Its not that the press really care about who Trump appoints. They need fresh, new targets to shred and smear. Their world has been turned upside down. The plan was to fawn over HRC, crush any dissent, and just ooh and awe over her every move. More importantly, the press was going to be HRC’s public defender over her “alleged” criminal activities when her prosecution began. And prosecuted she would have been, for the email scandal was just the tip of iceberg. The Clinton Foundation has all of the elements of a non-profit being used to enrich the pockets of its members – Bill & Hillary. That is a violation of the section of the Tax Code that non-profits are organized under and why the FBI is still poking around. The real bombshell is going to be when the Foundation investigation turns up evidence of violations of federal election laws regarding the misuse of “donations” and re-routing funds to the Clinton Campaign.

Remember that you read it hear first.

Those Precious Cupcakes and Anarchists
Remember when Trump threw out the chance he might not accept election night results? The howls across the media of foul play rattled television sets. Can you imagine if HRC won and Trump supporters went into the streets to protest? The liberal media would have CRUSHED them with calls of calm, you must accept the rule of legal elections, and can’t we just get along. When that wore thin, then name calling would have kicked in: Brown shirts, Nazis, Fascists (that one is still being used…), etc.

Where in blazes are these voices of reason now? You have riots, not protests, going on in certain areas of the country. A protest is peaceful and no one will bother that process. Riots are when people and property are attacked as is going on now, yet I hear no one out there calling for calm, etc. Instead, what I hear from the liberal press is acceptance.

“Oh, those crazy kids are just exercising their First Amendment rights voicing their displeasure with Trump. Paid protesters – there is no evidence of that. Those are not anarchists tearing up cities where protests are occurring. Those are just frustrated kids. That’s not assault occurring on campuses by the cupcakes who cannot handle reality against anyone who shows or speaks support for Trump.”

How deplorable.

Welcome to Trumpland!

Breathe deep… Do you smell that? It’s the fragrant aroma of newborn freedom.

Thank you, deal Lord. My first amendment gag has been removed.

For those of you wondering why my posts have been few and far between for a while, let me simply state that I have been politically suppressed. My involvement with a client who the Obama Administration has shredded their 4th Amendment rights and has placed in witness protection as a political prisoner has forced quiet from yours truly. It is a sad story of one of the many illegal activities of Barry O that will chill your bones. While that is a fascinating story that I will write about soon, that is for another day.

Today, we celebrate freedom. We celebrate the victory of Donald J Trump and the political landscape of Trumpland (aka the United States of America). Yes, that sea of red on political maps is real. When final tally is in Arizona and Michigan will go into the Trump column for a total of 306 electoral votes. The following states are trending back to the red side and will be there by the 2018 mid terms – Colorado, Minnesota, Nevada, and New Hampshire.

It Sucks to be stupid

Ahh, my little cupcakes in academia who need safe zones and violate the free speech of those you oppose: take a deeeeeep breath and slowly exhale. The sun will still rise each day and there will not be gang of radical Republicans coming to your dorm to gag and bind you. That practice will hopefully stop with the exit of Barry O, the one man who has done more to erode freedom than anyone since Mao Se Tung, Joseph Stalin, and Adolph Hitler. You get to protest in the streets and burn the flag in effigy because you have the right under the 1st Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America. I would suggest that in all of the high-priced tuition you are paying, that someone teach you about the electoral college. It was established to give smaller states power in the election process and ensure that their voices are heard. I know people inside large cities are still reeling from the results, but that sea of red on the electoral map represents actual people who have a different political viewpoint.

Electoral Realignment and the Fall of the Big Blue Wall

Right now, pollsters and Democrats are scratching their heads in the collapse of the Big Blue Wall. Answer – it’s the economy stupid. Not only did Trump take Iowa, Michigan,  Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and Wisconsin; Trump came close in Minnesota. The job losses in these states since the last Clinton Administration and the signing of NAFTA by Bill Clinton is criminal. How these states have not collapsed against the Dems before now is more of a mystery than why they turned now. The nation started getting more red in 2010 and 2014 with the Congressional Mid Terms. 2012 was off for 2 reasons – 1. Obama’s criminal actions in sicking the IRS on conservative political action groups in 2011 after the 2010 wipe out of the House. The reason that came to light and became one of many Obama scandals was due to a group in Texas that sent the IRS stonewall tactics to US Congressman Bill Flores. The rest is history,  2. Romney being the GOP nominee. Let’s be honest here – nominating a former corporate raider who put people out of jobs and just happened to be the author of the blueprint to Obamacare with Romneycare was as big a brain fart as the GOP has had since nominating Bob Dole in 1996. A better candidate could and should have stopped the bleeding 4 years ago.

States trending red that will turn by the 2018 mid terms: Colorado, Maine, Nevada, New Hampshire. Remember you read it here first.

Political Correctness

I have to admit, I don’t watch the likes of CNN (Clinton News Network) or MSNBC (code for the Democrat Channel) because 5 minutes into them and I want to puke with all of the lies they purvey. However, I do enjoy watching them writhe in pain when conservatives are winning at the ballot box. One of the reasons the cupcakes are protesting is because they believed in the tripe being fed to them by the likes of these networks and other liberal media outlets. Folks, Trump is not a racist. If one country is allowing people to come to another country, and part of the demographic of those people include people who have committed crimes, then the other nation should be called onto the carpet. That is called stating facts. While the manner in which the facts are stated may be unpleasant, distasteful, and even offensive in delivery – every person in the nation has a right to their opinion. The suppression of free speech and ideas has been at a dangerous level in this nation under Barry O.  The world is a harsh place, but the ability to express the truth must be allowed to shine. It makes us stronger.

The Obama Legacy
Suppression of free speech, inflaming racial tension, issuing more Executive Orders than any other President in History, Racking up more debt than all other Presidents combined, over 2000 new regulations issued under his directive (ObamaCare being the worst), overseeing the worst economy since the Great Depression, turning over internet registration to the UN (did you know that?), being known as the Great Apologist, depleting our military, abuse of veterans, practicing isolationism and abandoning our allies on foreign policy, and helping lay to waste 50 years of work in the Middle East that lead to the rise of Isis is the legacy he leaves behind.

It won’t be hard for Trump to do better.

Moving Forward

Black Lives Matter
Yes, they do. However, all lives matter. One of the problems in this nation that I will lay blame right at the feet of the Democratic Party is the practice playing the race and segregation card. It is divide and conquer and must stop. I don’t like the monikers of “African-Americans”, “Hispanic-American”, or what other class titles have been created by liberals for the exploitation of a specific sect. We are all Americans and need to embrace that fact. Having written that, let’s be perfectly honest, the black community under Obama is far worse off economically now than when he first entered the Oval Office. That has resulted in a lack of choices for blacks in certain areas, which has led to poverty, and thus to crime. Crime leads to arrest and thus the issues with police. America needs the black community to be more successful and prosperous.

So, how do you fix it? Well, it begins in the home. Rebuilding the black family where there is a mother and a father in the home is critical. While it is a documented fact of my disdain for Obama politically, the one area I will give him BIG kudos for is his example of a successful black family. He has done a great job and all Americans can look to him and Michele at the great job they have done. I sincerely hope he works in the black community to keep that light shining.

Education and economic opportunity are the keys for not just the black community, but any community that wants to elevate its standard of living. Education is not necessarily college, but getting the solid foundation of primary education. Then it is time to re-worked the narrative on career options. College is not for everyone, as the current class of non-working college graduates will agree with. Statistics show only 3 of 10 high school graduates go to college. So, why in blazes is no one talking about what the other 7 of 10 need to do? The trades are a needed class of the workforce that is woefully understaffed. Plumbers, HVAC, pipefitters, and electrical contractors have a strong demand in the market. The US infrastructure is going to have to be overhauled. It will take time and will need far more labor than is in the workforce now. There is currently a 60000 driver deficit for long haul trucking that requires a clean driving record and very low cost driving school. These are all high paying careers that do not require college and have a low participation rate from the black community.

Of course, let’s not forget about tapping into the entrepreneurial spirit that is waiting to erupt in this community. There are existing programs for minorities that I know about, but never hear squat from anyone in the press on how to access and use them. The Small Business Administration ( exists to help minorities and small businesses succeed with access to low-interest loans as well as being the gateway to federal government contracting. While there are a slew of minorities taking advantage of what the SBA can offer, this is arena where the black community has a great opportunity to expand its presence in this program under the growth that will start coming the nations way under a Trump Administration.

Revving the Economic Engine

This is the cornerstone in the new foundation Trump will lay down. Look for small reforms in the tax code on corporate, capital gains, and repatriation tax rates to get large (and I do mean large) sums of capital coming back into the states. Look for large reforms in regulations to come in the first 100 days to get the weight off business where it can start to grow again. Top on that list – the Affordable Care Act that we all know as ObamaCare. This leviathan is a year away from collapse on its own.

Once these reforms start going, it will not take long for growth to occur. Take a gander at Wall Street right now. While the DJIA tanked 800 plus points in pre-trading numbers the night of the election, it was next to nil by the time the markets opened and as of this writing, the Dow is at its highest level in history. The globe has been waiting for almost 9 years to cut loose on growth. As the US goes, so goes the world.

That loud sucking sound of jobs leaving the US under bad trade agreements like NAFTA will come to an end. Not getting into Trans Pacific Partnership will also save jobs.  Look for tariffs on Chinese goods coming into equal that of what China places on US goods it allow to import. Now, for those who don’t like tariffs since they are a tax ( yours truly being one), they do have a place against unfair competition. China and Mexico have slave labor rates that keep people in poverty in their nations. When jobs leave here for there, poverty is a result here. Remember the Fall of the Big Blue Wall was due to loss of manufacturing jobs, so there is no issue with leveling the playing field. What will this do other than tick off the Chinese? CREATE MANUFACTURING JOBS!!!!!!! Manufacturing means more industrial real estate sales/leases and improvement to the locations, which require construction crews to do the improvements, etc., etc., etc. More freight has to be moved, which means for money for trucking, shipping, etc.

If you are not excited yet, you should be.

Reestablishing the US abroad

The damage Obama/Clinton has done here may take a generation to reverse. There is more to this than I can write today, but the global Obama/Clinton FUBAR is real. Getting back with allies won’t take much, taking out Isis is very doable, but bad actors have been allowed to proliferate (Iran, N Korea). These actors are going to be more difficult due to Obama/Clinton. While Russia is not the enemy many think, the fact that the US withdrew in areas and Russia stepped in to be the influencing nation will not change any time soon. Trump being strong with Putin will calm things, but there will not be a reverse of territories seized. Iran is now more of a threat than ever. However, even a depleted US military can still kick the ass of any other army on the planet and I do think nations will think twice now with Trump in the White House.

The Supreme Court

This is the crown jewel in the Presidential Prize. A nominee to replace the late Justice Scalia will be first order. Two to three other Supreme Court nominees could come over the next 4 years, due to the advancing age of the Justices. Yes, the court will reflect a more conservative view with Trump now. For the liberals swooning at this thought, don’t dive off the deep end, as this is better for all people. The fact is, the Supremes NEVER need to be legislating from the bench. Conservative judges have shown a better track record for this. Liberal appointments have shown no restraint in this order. For the libs reading this – if the GOP passes what might be an unconstitutional law, a conservative court will still overrule it.

So, take a deep breath and smell the rebirth of freedom.

Welcome to Trumpland!

From Behind the Nylon Curtain

I had to take a short and unproductive trip to London last week. One that I will get to do again in the coming weeks. While I spent time in the hotel room, I had the great pleasure of watching all 27 channels that the hotel had to offer. There was news on items I know had not been covered in the US press corps and a major news event occurred that I still cannot find being covered anywhere here in the states.

I have been told for some time by several of my overseas friends that our news is filtered and restricted. It was not until now that I had proof we live behind a nylon curtain.

Need proof, you say? Let me share the 2 items that everyone on the globe but us are aware of.

Britain considering leaving the EU
This actually is not news in the UK. It has been a current topic for a while and will be voted on in June of this year. When David Cameron won re-election last year, one of his promises was on an up or down vote to stay in the European Union.  I am not going to cover all of the reasons for consideration, but when I found out about what the Brits call “Brexit”, I asked some people at the hotel and others when I went out walking around. Curious. While there are a load of issues (see ), immigration was a real rub there in London. Under EU rules, borders with other EU countries are similar to our own borders here between states. The issues of terrorism and getting a hold of who comes in and out was at the top of the list with the people I talked with who supported Brexit.

Barry was there last week as well and “advising” the Brits to stay in the EU. Did not catch that on Fox, CNN, or MSNBC here in the states. Now why might Barry want the UK to stay in the EU? Well, for starters, the EU model is Barry’s guiding light and blueprint for a less sovereign America. The US and UK are first cousins and one cannot have their cousin walking away from the adopted brothers and sisters.  It also looks bad for Barry if the UK’s driving force on the vote turns out to be immigration. That does not bode well for his vision here for us plebiscites.

Now, I know what you are thinking: why would we care what goes on in England? Well, aside from issues on policy that made Obama look bad, there are financial considerations. What impact do you think this will have on the Euro should Britain pull out of the EU? What about its impact on the British Pound? The answers are that the Euro will be hurt, the Pound could be hurt, but the good ole US Dollar might get just a tad stronger. Could that impact trade agreements, import & export contracts, currency futures,  or travel? What if you own shares in a mutual fund that invests in Euros? You might want to have that data to make an informed decision.

Saudi Vision 2030
This came out Monday and was all over the news. It impacted oil prices here in the US, but I still cannot find it on any US news outlet. The announcement is on an equivalent basis as when the Russians declared themselves out of the business of communism. It’s that big and its like crickets chirping in the night over here.

Not one US media outlet is reporting this.

The impact of this new policy is broad and will reach all corners of the globe. It was and is all over the news in every part of the globe.

Except here.

So, what is it? Well, Monday the Saudi’s announced the end of the Era of Big Oil. Due to the impact of renewable energy sources, alternative fuels such as natural gas, and competition from other oil producers, the world’s 2nd largest producer of crude (Russia #1) and formerly the largest producer of crude for most of the past 50 years said it is going to diversify its economy away from the revenue produced by crude oil sales. That is currently 87% of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s income…. And they are going to accomplish this transition by the year 2030. Yeah, 2030…..

As part of their plan ( ) the Kingdom will sell of 5% of Aramco, the worlds largest oil company. If you click the link and it comes up with technical difficulties, refresh your browser and it should bring in the article. The price per share to open will be based on an estimate of Saudi’s reserves at a low market of $10 per barrel. The IPO in selling 5% of Aramco is going to be valued at over 2 trillion and will be the worlds largest… The MENA (Middle East North Africa) regional rags were quick to give their opinion:

Did you wonder why oil took a nose dive Monday after weeks of being on the rise. Are you starting to understand that we are getting minutia for news?

Now, oil has gained back some prices and will stable out. However, every analyst in the world now places oil prices playing on the $40 to $60 per barrel price from here on. If you’re not sure, call one. They may think your from Mars having the knowledge, but they will give you an opinion on the oil sector. Gosh, isn’t it good to know your spread in advance to best manipulate the markets? Sorry, could not pass on that one. If you still believe the markets are not run by puppets on strings, I cannot help you.

What does this do for West Texas Crude? How about renewable energy tech or holdings in natural gas? Is it time to buy Tesla stock? I watched 4 investment firms announce billions in investments in green energy projects on Bloomberg Monday while in London after this announcement came out. Was this data on your E-Trade account? I thought not.

Here is the real question: why is this sort of data being ignored here? I know both Fox and MSNBC have the news. Fox owns SKY news and it was covered in London. MSNBC has its own financial channel in the UK and it was all over it. Bloomberg has a UK channel as well and it was an all day topic for 2 days. You can find it on if you click on the section for Middle East and scroll down to the Challenge to Saudi Arabia’s Post Oil Vision article. But you have to LOOK for it. It’s not at the top and nowhere in the US section of the site.

I know money is one reason for this blackout of news. There are people who profit from this kind of data over those who don’t have it. Past that, I can’t give you any other reasons that don’t start diving off into conspiracy and paranoia.

Welcome to life behind the nylon curtain.

Dead On Arrival

Romney Puppet

Mitt Romney made an ass of himself yesterday and his message was DOA – dead on arrival. When I heard excerpts of the speech the day before, I laughed out loud. The 2012 GOP nominee either is the largest marionette on strings being pulled by the GOP leadership or has an ego that only the Rocky Mountains in Utah could support if thinks he has any relevance to the electorate. Had he been half this aggressive against Barry O 4 years ago, the country might have elected him.

Maybe. And I voted for Romney despite the fact that he vaporized into thin air the last 6 weeks of the campaign.

What the Gloved One and the rest of the GOP establishment fail to recognize is that what is happening with Trump & Cruz is a culmination of anger over 20 years of failed GOP hand selection of Presidential Nominees. Let’s have a stroll down memory lane, shall we?

  • 1996 Bob Dole   There is only one candidate worse than Dole and I will get there in a minute. The GOP elite decided it was Grandpa Cranky’s time to run against Bill Clinton, who was charismatic and popular and appealed to the center. Dole was neither charismatic, popular, or pleasing to the ear. While he was a good man and respectable Senator, this nominee was awful.
  • 2000 George W Bush  People have somehow forgotten that W was not a hard right candidate. He was closer to the middle and that is one reason he was elected due to a broad appeal. What George did have was personality and charisma and an air of reasonableness to him that was sharply contrasted by Mr. Anal – Al Gore on the Dem side. You will notice, however, that Republican candidates of this era do not invoke that they are a George W Bush conservative. Is it because he was closer to the center or due to his policies? While I’m not sure, it’s time to clear the air and realize what 43’s policies have done to the US.  The invasion of Iraq, which I supported then, will go down in history as one of the great blunders in history. It serves as an example that the days of nation building are in the past. When the Syria issue settles, Russia will get a reminder of why they left Afghanistan. The MENA region has been a mess for several millennia and will remain that way until and unless its people want change. That does not mean other nations like the US can have alliances and roles of support. This decision brought in the return of the Democrats to Congress in 2006 and it has been downhill since. The Patriot Act and TARP are 2 pieces of bookend legislation that illustrate the disaster that W’s presidency became. We now know his nomination of John Roberts would lead to one of the greatest betrayals of Constitutional interpretation in history regarding BarryCare not once, but twice. While time fades people memory, have no doubt that many of these topics re-surfaced when brother Jeb decided to run for the GOP nomination and failed miserably. People do not want another Bush in the Whitehouse.
  • 2008 John McCain  The only man worse than Bob Dole, in my opinion. Having lost to Bush 43 in the 2000 Republican Primary, the GOP should have recognized his shortcomings then.  He had zero passion, was still embracing 43’s policies that were now obviously unpopular, and sounded like a Democrat on many issues. In the meantime, the Dem’s trot out a young, charismatic Barry. It was 1996 all over again and the Grand Old Party did not look grand, but old. McCain’s only kudos was the brass nads of getting Sarah Palin as his VP nominee. Without Palin, the shellacking he took at the hands of Barry would have been worse. The man is a war hero and deserves that respect, but he was a horrible nominee.
  • 2012 Mitt Romney On the surface he appeared to be a winner in the current Dem heavy environment. He had a sense of humor, been in government and in business and successful at both. He was by no means a hard right conservative, but leaned closer to the middle and that appeared to be a needed formula to get general election results. But hold on – he had a chance in 2008 and dropped out of the Republican Primary race because the support was not there. Maybe that should have been the big red flag to party leaders before pushing Mitt down the throats of the voters. Why did he drop out in 2008? Well, he was not the most passionate campaigner and you had RomneyCare out there with its baggage and the fact he was a prior corporate raider. Well, his lack of passion showed on the campaign trail, as he refused to attack Barry hard on his failed policies. He had opportunities in the debates to put the election away and never did. The Dems beat him over the head for criticizing BarryCare when it was the same as RomneyCare and the putting people out of jobs as a corporate raider did come into play. Romney showed his true lack of grit in the last 6 weeks when he all but disappeared on the campaign trail. Now, 4 years later, he wants back in the game?

So, what have we learned? The establishment does not know squat about the people who vote. Here are some realities the GOP needs to learn:

  • Personality and passion wins elections. Bill Clinton, Bush 43, and Barry O had it – their opponents did not.
  • Americans want someone to fight for them, whether it is for domestic issues or abroad. Bill and Barry have won on domestic issues and Bush won re-election on keeping the US safe after 9-11-01. Now, whether this is actually true or not, it is the perception of the American voter in the booth that counts.

Because of the failure of past nominees and because the Republican controlled Congress has lost its spine, the voters for the GOP have had enough.

This is what has fueled the rise of Trump & Cruz, as well as Carson and Fiorina when they were in the race.  Carson and Fiorina are out because they lacked the qualities I have pointed out. Trump and Cruz have personality, have passion, and Americans believe they will fight for them. If policy and experience were the trigger, Kasich would have been leading since New Hampshire.

So, GOP leadership, hear me on this: let the voters decide on who they want. Don’t even try to steal it at the convention, because people like me will be there to hunt you down and expose you for what you really are. Last time I checked, vampires don’t like the light.

Don’t Poke the Bear

I’m not sure that Hell froze over, but I am pretty certain I saw a pig fly today.

That would make about as much sense as the Department of Education’s decision regarding the Illinois Township High School District 211 and their treatment of a transgender teen. Apparently, the school has been working its best to accommodate a transgender “girl” for quite some time. Allowing the student to participate in girls’ sports, use the girl’s restrooms, and even setting up facilities next to the girl’s locker room for this student to change.

Oh, but apparently that was not enough…. This “girl” wanted to change in the same locker room with real girls, thus exposing real girls to the transgender’s true genital being. So, this “girl” got the ACLU to sue on “her” behalf and now the DOE says the school district has discriminated.

Good God….

OK, let’s air this out. If you want to be homosexual, go ahead. Not going to change my world. You want to be a boy and look like a girl – this nation will allow it. HOWEVER, don’t try to gloss over the fact that while you have the genitals of a male, you are still a MALE. You are not FEMALE. Until and unless you have the reason you are male removed, that is your categorization and thus the reasoning for my sarcastic definition of “girl” in this article. Don’t care what the liberal states classify you as or what the jackasses at the DOE do to back up that classification. FYI – transgender lifestyle does contradict with how God created you. The body parts are not interchangeable like Lego’s. You are male until you have the surgery. So if you are a Sal and want to be a Sally – get the procedure done. Simple enough. After that, I would have no issue with that person then changing in the same locker room with the girls and would recognize that person as female.

For disclosure, one of my 4 kids is a teenage daughter. The last thing that I would allow is for a boy to change in the locker room with her. The lengths I would go to as a father to not allow this to happen are not for discussion. However, I can assure you that whatever action I would take in prevention of this act of lunacy, my stance would not be in the minority of action of parents in America. So, sorry LGBT community and sorry DOE – you’re wrong on this one. You folks that support the DOE decision today need to understand something – America is a nation that as a rule is tolerant and willing to avoid conflict to keep peace. But there are invisible lines that you just don’t cross. Forcing females to be exposed to males in a locker room because a person feels “discriminated” against because their sexual orientation conflicts with nature crosses that line. While America supports people in their decision to decide their sexual orientation, the reality is that the LGBT section of the US is not a majority of America. As such, to rearrange the law to accommodate such a small percent of the population is managing to the exception. The principles of a democratic republic were designed to manage to the masses while protecting the downtrodden. In my opinion, this accommodation for a transgender teen is not warranted and will have far-reaching impact around the nation. This accommodation violates the majority here by forcing teenage girls to be forced to be in the same room with a male during the change of clothes. If you truly support that position, you need clinical help. I think this is a decision that should and will be litigated. Once it reaches SCOTUS, I doubt if even the current liberal status of the Supremes would agree with this decision.

This decision also draws a great big arrow to the fact that no matter how tolerant the American citizenry is to the LGBT community, it just never seems to be enough. Even so, the majority of America wants to genuinely make the LGBT community feel accepted. We have been polite, attempted to avoid confrontation, and in general have tried to be accommodating. It has reached a point that those in the LGBT community can’t have a debate on their issues: they want to force feed their issues down the throats of heterosexuals by bullying, engaging in attacks on those with a voice for heterosexuals, and trying to silence critics with cries of discrimination.

I compare it the idiot camper coming across a hibernating bear. The camper is fascinated with the size and potential ferocity of the bear, but still feels compelled to get a stick and see if the bear moves when poked. The other campers warn the idiot to knock it off, but the idiot feels safe in its knowledge that it knows just how much to poke without waking the bear. Confident it can determine how much the bear can take before waking, the idiot camper keeps on poking until eventually it wakes up one seriously pissed off and very hungry bear.

A very pissed off and very hungry bear…..

So here is a warning.

Stop poking the bear.

Eventually the bear gets up and devours the idiot camper that has been poking them and then defecates them off a long, tall cliff.
